Karol Mackowiak
FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR
His passion for aviation grew thanks to growing up near Warsaw’s Chopin Airport. He started his journey with RC planes, followed by spotting and Microsoft Flight Simulator X, which allowed him to participate in IVAO – the International Virtual Aviation Organisation. Then, he moved on to gliders and earned his SPL and PPL licenses from the Warsaw Aeroclub. Right now, he is in the process of obtaining his ATPL(A) airline pilot’s license. In addition to that, he studies at the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology.
At Simair, he works as an instructor on a Boeing 737 MAX and a Cessna C152.
